From the master-planned communities of Summerlin to the growing neighborhoods of Southwest Las Vegas, Southern Nevada offers a lifestyle that surprises many people who are considering making a move.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Las Vegas is that life here revolves around casinos. In reality, many residents may go months without visiting the Strip.
Instead, weekends might mean hiking at Red Rock Canyon, watching a Golden Knights game, having dinner at Downtown Summerlin, golfing, attending a youth sporting event or simply enjoying a backyard barbecue.
Las Vegas offers the amenities of a major metropolitan area while still providing neighborhoods that can feel surprisingly removed from the tourist corridor.
And when you do want world-class entertainment, restaurants, concerts or sporting events, they are only minutes away.

Located along the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley near Red Rock Canyon, Summerlin has become one of Southern Nevada's most recognizable communities.
Its thoughtful planning is a major part of the appeal. Summerlin offers an extensive network of parks and trails, neighborhood shopping and dining, golf courses, schools, recreation facilities and a wide range of housing options.
Downtown Summerlin adds another dimension with restaurants, shopping, entertainment and nearby professional sports facilities.
